The GreekNameApplet   —   Greek names building kit
Here an applet should run.
If you don't see it your Browser does not support Java or Java archives (.jar) for Applets.

The adjacent Applet helps you to build Greek names.

A peculiarity of greek names is their almost free combinability from a limited set of pre and postfixes. This Applet helps you to manufacture (almost) all those names. Some of them are quite famous and are partly elucidated by the Applet in English or German (see below) language.

The lists of name prefixes and postfixes as well as the explications for some of the names as well as some other properties are held in .properties files handled by Frame4J's class de.frame4j.util.Prop for the Applet.

The .properties files GreekName.properties and GreekName_en.properties will be loeded from the Applet's URL — to be precise read as ressources from its .jar (Java archive). A few outdated browsers regard those files wrongly as local and throw a security exception. In that case the Applet won't be displayed.

Hier sollte ein zweites Applet ausgeführt werden.
Here an other Applet should run.

The adjacent Applet (and the .jar) is the same as the above one. By using parameter tags like
<param name=language value=en>
(and Prop support) it is set to German explications and by
<param name="grafBgColor" value="0xFFFF00">
to yellow background.

The effect of "language=en" in the upper applet is the loading and evaluating of GreekName_en.properties additionally to the base GreekName.properties. All that happens with no extra line in the Applet code the framework Frame4J's support — also for Applets.
